The property is located above the village of Positano and the entry gate leads on to a private driveway and established garden with plenty of shade, trees and flowers.

The entrance to this home leads directly onto an imposing hall with a double staircase and access to the main floor of the property.
On the ground floor there is a formal living room and formal dining room with double doors providing access to the front terrace.
In addition there is a casual dining room which adjoins a professional kitchen boasting eight gas burners and fully equipped with every modern convenience including laundry facilities and fireplace with two traditional fornos.

There are also two double bedroom suites on this level each with ensuite bathroom and direct access to the garden. Moving to the upper storey, you will find two double bedrooms (queen) both with a private balcony and access to a shared terrace and both with ensuite bathrooms and a sitting area which will comfortably accommodate four people.

On the top floor there is a twin bedded bedroom with private terrace that overlooks a beautiful sea panorama and garden view of bougainvilles, colorful flowers and lemon trees. Ensuite bathroom (shower) with antique majolica, typical of the place.

On this same floor, another double bedded bedroom and ensuite same style bathroom (shower).
On the mezzanine floor there is a smaller twin bed bedroom for one person with cute majolica-tile bathroom (shower).

Returning to the spa area, you will find a Turkish steam bath and sauna. A regulating heated, jet stream waterfall from the wall into hydro-massage feature and shower area with three distinct showers for hot, tepid and cold water. There is also an outside pool with Jacuzzi for guests to enjoy (4,20 m x 1,11 m) A gym area provides a range of weight training equipment and there is also a sitting area for eight people equipped with a plasma television, satellite and audio systems.

In keeping with the traditions of the area, there is also a private chapel in the grounds. The decor is in keeping with the Baroque traditions of the region and is exquisitely appointed with period design and antique furnishings and fittings. Positano is reached by a series of walkways and stairs which are characteristic of the area and take the visitor from the peace and tranquil surroundings of the property to the local hustle and hubbub of the quaint village of Positano with its lively atmosphere.

Villa Araceli provides the perfect base to explore the region and the surrounding seaside. Fortunately, the Amalfi Coast is favoured by a year round climate which is enjoyable and provides a full seasonal experience. April delivers a blossoming Spring which is marked by the start of the traditional holiday visitor season. Many regular and more experienced visitors prefer the latter part of the season and enjoy the mellow fall months leading up to November after the bustle and crowds of summer visitors have returned home leaving a more relaxed and amenable Positano to enjoy.

Further afield from Positano, the visitor can enjoy private excursions which take in the cultural and social richness of the area. Nerano and Capri are easily reached and provide sailing, swimming and other recreational activities including fantastic restaurants and shopping.
If you wish to take home some of the cooking and cuisine specialties, you can avail yourself of the services of several local cookery and wine tasting classes. Capri can be reached by boat in 40 minutes, while the mainland towns of Ravello, Amalfi and Pompeii along with the major city of Naples are all within an hour of Positano and Rome is itself a four hour drive.
