Located in the middle of the Chianti Colli Senesi countryside, on a hill high about 400 mt. above the sea level; Il Cassio is part of an ancient 13th century estate situated on a hillside overlooking the valley below. There is a typical Tuscan unpaved road among the olive groves (approx. 1 km long) that will lead you to Il Cassio, accessible by car (sportive low cars are not recommended). The nearest local center is about 350 meters. The property consists of three independent cottages that are attached to one other, Ulivella, Il Cassio and a third cottage that is occupied by the friendly owners. Il Cassio is a well appointed and lovingly cared Italian cottage. Great care has been taken in its maintenance and upkeep. Furnished with antiques from Tuscany, this cottage is a typical example of exclusive homes of Tuscany. Accommodation extends to 8 people for rental of Il Cassio alone, making this an ideal vacation rental for groups of friends and families.
There is a swimming pool of 6x12m (open from mid May to beginning of Oct-), to be shared with the guests of the other house. The swimming pool is fully equipped with sun-beds, chairs, and sun-umbrellas. Wonderful views of the surrounding countryside can be seen from the pool.

Main house

Situated on the second floor of the manor house, Il Cassio has an independent entrance which leads upstairs directly into the dining room. There is a fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerator & dishwasher). The living room is very bright and has a fireplace. One master bedroom with queen bed and bathroom ensuite (shower). Three double bedrooms with queen beds. One bathroom (shower) and washing-machine inside.
The property is located in a remote area, car rental is recommended.
